Presentation Types
Oral Presentation – 10-minute presentation grouped by theme, followed by 5 minute questions and answer.
Poster Presentation – A0 portrait size (84.1 cm × 118.9 cm), with a 2–3 minute summary by the presenter.All abstracts will be considered for both formats. Due to limited slots, not all oral presentation requests can be accommodated; high-quality submissions will be prioritised.

Abstract Review & Acceptance
- All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee.
- Final decisions regarding acceptance and presentation type rest with the committee.
- Notification of acceptance will be sent by 30 April 2026.
Post-Acceptance Instructions
- Presenting authors must register by 30 May 2026. Any presenter who fails to register by this date will be removed from the programme.
- Accepted abstracts will be published in a supplementary issue of the Health Emergency and Disaster Nursing Journal (HEDN).
- Authors may also choose to submit a full paper for publication in HEDN or the International Journal of Care and Safety (IJCS). An additional publication fee will apply.
- Detailed guidelines for presentation and submission will be provided upon acceptance.
Important Notes
– Abstracts must be original and not previously published or presented.
– Each author may submit and present multiple abstracts.
– Only one presenting author per abstract.
– Submission implies consent for publication and responsibility for content accuracy.
– All listed authors must agree to the submission and its contents.
Additional Instructions for Abstract Submission and Presentation
- Indicate a single presenting. The presenting authors of accepted abstracts must register for the Conference by 30 May 2026. Accepted abstracts will be removed from the programme after this date if registration and fee payment still need to be completed.
- Submitting online also indicates agreement to the copyright terms, allowing the conference to publish the abstracts for all purposes related to the conference without further notice.
- Authors are strongly encouraged to verify the accuracy of their submitted abstracts. Any errors in literature references or scientific facts will be published as submitted.
- All authors listed in the abstract have consented to its submission for presentation at WSDN2026 and agree that they are accountable for the data and concur with the presented results.
- The Organising Committee of WSDN2026 reserves the right to accept or reject an abstract, to designate abstracts for oral or poster presentations, and to assign appropriate sessions for the abstract. While the authors’ preferences regarding presentation type and subtheme will be considered, the final decision lies with the Organising Committee.
